Department of Anesthesiology

The anesthesiology department is dedicated to set up the high standards in patient care, education and research. All clinical departments are anchored to this speciality. The department follows an integrated approach and standard protocols for patient care, education and research. The department is dedicated to run critical care services including ICCU, ICU, Surgical ICU, PICU, NICU, Obstetrics HDU/ICU, and Medicine ICU under supervision of trained and highly qualified anesthesiologists. The department is engaged in managing central sterilization supply department (CSSD) and hospital medical gas pipeline supply system including liquid oxygen plant.

• To provide high standard training to undergraduates as per prescribed in competency based medical education (CBME).
• To provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for residents, doctors, paramedics and nurses.
• To provide management of critically ill patients in all ICU’s through open type system round the clock.
